Happy English
The theme: Happy English
The aims: 1. To check pupils’ knowledge from English, through playing games,
doing different tasks
2. To develop pupils’ reading, speaking and thinking abilities and enlarge
their vocabulary.
3. To bring up the children’s memory, logical thought, vocabulary,
children’s love to English language, love of nature, native country. To
teach to be attentive and curiosity.
Visual aids: Cards, pictures, slides.
Procedure of the game:
-Teacher: Good evening students, teachers and guests! Welcome to our competition “Happy English”! We are glad to see you, we hope that you'll enjoy today's game.Today we have 2 teams.Our game consists of 6 rounds. At first we must choose the juries. Now let us begin our game. The rounds of the game:
1st round. Your name
2nd round. Warming up
3rd round. New words
4th round. Who is quickly?
5th round. The secret codes
6th round. Captains` competition
I. Your name. - First task to each team: Name your teams. Introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the team? Are you ready? Let’s begin our first competition.
